The Go Modo Go drive through chicken BBQ will be June 29 at 601 W. Morris ave from 12pm to 6pm.  The tickets are $10 per meal.  All the proceeds go to the dog park preservation fund.   Tickets will be available at O’Brien’s Market on Roseburg Ave on May 25th from 11am to 2 pm. and at the dog park on W. Morris Ave June 1 & 8 from 1pm to 5pm.  Support the dog park with your purchase

A big thank you to Brenda Athletic Club for donating two large bags of recyclables to the dog park. We will be using the CRV from these to pay for the ongoing maintenance of the dog park.  If you have recyclables that you would like to donate, please bring them to earth day, April 20th, at Graceada park.

The  Modesto Dog Park will be closed for about one week starting April 1st. This winter we had water standing every time it rained.  We will be preparing the ground in the high traffic area for the addition of sand to eliminate this problem.  We will continue to make improvements to the park as funds allow.

Do you have too much citrus fruit growing in your yard? Want to see it used up instead of going to waste?  This program allows your to register your tree for harvesting.  Volunteer will come and pick the fruit from your tree(s) and then the fruit is donated to local charities. A win-win for all involved!

The Humane Society of Stanislaus County is holding a wine tasting fundraiser on March 3, 2013 at Vintage Gardens. There will be appetizers, a commemorative wine glass, and a silent auction. Proceeds will help provide funding for low cost spay/neuter clinics, pet food pantry and veterinary assistance. Tickets are $25.00 or $45.00 for two. Please help us spread the word!
